I’m so excited that I’m finally able to write my first game review!

I played the original version of this game over a year ago, but I feel like after taking years off from gaming, this one re-sparked my interest in a new and fun way, and now I’ve found myself back in the gaming world.

Seduce Me the Otome is a free-to-play, PG-16 otome game that is a choose-your-own adventure/relationship story that allows you to experience multiple endings with 5 unique male characters, and more. Click here to download the game for free!

Here is the official trailer for the game:

So what exactly IS an otome game?

An otome game is a story based video game that is targeted towards the female market. Generally one of the goals, besides the main plot goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male characters.

To sum up the plot of this particular game, you are a young girl who finds herself surrounded by five male incubi (male demons) that find themselves in the human world. Your character offers them refuge in exchange for their servitude, and then the plot really escalates from there…

Go ahead and take a moment to giggle at their demon forms…and then swoon at them in tuxedos….

I played through all of the characters in this game and unlocked all of the achievements, and I liked them all! The voice acting was great, and the music really helped you feel the emotion behind the writing.

I really enjoyed most of the characters, although, my least favorite is Matthew, because he seemed the most young and naive, and so it had sort of the lolita (loli) vibe (i.e. the cute child or child-like character in anime or manga).

My favorites were Sam, Erik and James…see choice moments with each of them below.

What is great about this game, is that it is loaded with features that you don’t often find in many other otome games:

  • 22 unique endings
  • Custom GUI
  • Original Soundtrack
  • CG Art Gallery
  • Full English Voice Over
  • Completely Optional implied sex scenes (hilarious).

I found that the full English voice over really took this game to the next level, and helped me engage with the story and the characters more than I ever have with any of the other games I’ve played in this genre.

Created by Michaela Laws and Seraphim Entertainment, it is incredible that this game is not backed by a fully traditional studio – and is 100% FREE to play.

For anyone that’s looking for a brief mental vacation from their normal life, this is a truly entertaining game that allows you to personally interact with a series, rather than just remain an observer in similar media (romantic comedies, romance novels, etc.).

If like me you finish the first game wanting more…don’t worry! There is a sequel of this game available for download on Steam: Seduce Me 2: The Demon War. And believe it or not, it is even better than the first!
